About Beta Website
An earlier iteration of my personal website, rebuilt in Astro as a smaller, stricter static site — no React runtime, no database, no CMS, no server functions. Content lives in MDX, translations are side-by-side per-locale files, and validation ensures every published English entry has its required translations.

Why it's archived
The current site (the one you're reading now) is built on Next.js, which gives it a proper server runtime for comments, webmentions, dynamic OG images, and so on. The Astro rewrite was a simpler approach that some projects still use as a reference — it survives here for that reason, not because I still ship it.
